“Our mission is to support local moms and be a resource for everything they need – from school news and updates to the name of their go-to plumber, realtor, or notary," said co-founder of the Ridgefield Park Moms page, Joyce Essig-Bachtler. "Participating in the street fair was a natural fit since it’s a showcase of village talent."
The organization will have a stand next to Palermo's.
"The group will be handing out a local business and resource and directory featuring more than 98 product and service offerings, such as beauty consultants, makeup and hair stylists, electricians, mechanics, bakers, caterers, DJ’s, event planners, social media consultants, babysitters, dog walkers, financial planners and more," Essig-Bachtler said.
Promotional items from RP Moms members and other giveaways – including free classes from Rising Sun Academy and a necklace from a Premier Designs consultant – will be distributed, she added.
Sharp Printing Plus designed "Keep Calm & Mom On" T-shirts, which will be on sale for $10.
“Our moms are very busy with full-time jobs, kids, sports, dance class and more, and they still find the time to make things, sell things, host fitness classes and bootcamps, and more," Essig-Bachtler said. "We felt it was our duty to give them a platform to showcase their abilities. We are grateful to the Ridgefield Park Business Association for giving us this opportunity to exhibit at the street fair."
The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street between Park and Cedar streets.
