ROCKLEIGH, NJ -- St. Joseph Children's Hospital is teaming up with the national chairty organization, Wine Women and Shoes to raise money for the Alfiero & Lucia Palestoni Birth Defects Center at its annual event in December.
This year, the Rockleigh Country Club again is playing host to the event, where attendees can look at the latest shoe styles, taste world-class wine and raise awareness for the children's hospital.
Inspired by the classic country ballad "Wine, Women and Song," the event offers both charity and corporate clients the opportunity to achieve a variety of goals from charity fundraising and cause awareness to team building.
Since begining in 2005, the group has raised more than $30 million for various women's and family-related causes.
Scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3, the event will feature a VIP reception at 6 p.m., followed by the signature event at 7 p.m.
A ticket to the event is $125 for general admission or $175 for VIP. For more information, contact John Dougherty at 973-754-4408 or dougherj@sjhmc.org.
