NORTHVALE, N.J. -- ShopRite of Northvale is to host several nutrition and wellness events in the coming weeks as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Inserra Supermarkets' In-store Dietician Program, according to njkidsonline.com.
The first scheduled event is Friday at the grocery store on Livingston Street, according njkidsonline.com.
A "Snack Attack" event is scheduled from noon-3 p.m. that will provide advice on how to "clean up back-to-school snack time with nutritious Fresh Kids snacks," according to njkidsonline.com.
On Sept. 28, the store is to host a Culinary Workshop for Kids from 5-7 p.m., according to njkidsonline.com.
Pre-registration is required for the second event, which is designed to provide "little chefs" with a fun, hands-on cooking experience, according to njkidsonline.com, which reported that the workshop costs $10 and must also be attended by a parent.
