OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- The Old Tappan Public Library will be host a STEM Workshop for Solar Energy on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and registration is now open.
The workshop, presented by Daniel Back, is for kids grades 5-8. It will cover solar energy and its history, why there's a need for solar energy, its pros and cons, and the importance of solar panels. There will be also be a hands-on exploration of solar robotics, bugs and cars.
The workshop will run from 3:30-4:15 p.m. The library is at 56 Russell Ave., in Old Tappan. To keep up with library events, visit its website or follow it on Facebook.
