The collection runs through Dec. 19.

Donations of coats are being accepted for Veterans of America for distribution, said organizer Denise Lester, Youth Services Librarian.

"Haworth has the history of being a generous town and in that tradition I feel it is a duty of the library to continue that. We just had a food drive for Tomorrow's Children Fund that ended yesterday. This is an extension of that," said Lester.

Donations may be brought to the library at 300 Haworth Ave., Haworth.
