OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Free violin and viola lessons for students ages 8 and older will be offered at Old Tappan Public Library on Thursdays from July 7 to Aug. 11 in the library's Community Room.

The lessons will be given by Grace Choi, a sophomore at Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan. Choi has been playing the violin for eight years and the viola for two.

Students are expected to bring an instrument, and if they don't have one, someone on the library's staff can advise them. Those interested can click here to register.

The lessons will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

For additional information, call the library at 201-664-3499.

The library is at 56 Russell Ave., Old Tappan.
