"Caregivers face many complex issues while providing care for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia," organizers said. "This conference will provide practical information about how to cope with the unique challenges of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease.
"The conference will include an overview of Alzheimer’s, including medication and care considerations, and a session detailing legal and financial planning," organizers added. "Attendees will receive information about community support services as well as learn tips on how to communicate more effectively and manage challenging behaviors when a loved one has dementia."
The session is from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A light breakfast will be served.

- Bergen County Division of Senior Services/Aging and Disability Resource Connection Executive Director Lorraine Joewono – "Community Resources for Caregivers."
- Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorney Carolyn Strassberg, Esq. of the Law Offices of Carolyn J. Strassberg, LLC – "Financial Planning Care Options."
