The group will discuss the 2004 World War II romance “Suite Francaise" by Irene Nemirovsky. Copies are available at the front desk.

The story centers on a romance between a French villager and a German soldier during the early years of the German occupation of France.

“Suite Française" also was a 2015 film directed by Saul Dibb and co-written with Matt Charman. It stars Michelle Williams, Kristin Scott Thomas, Matthias Schoenaerts, Sam Riley, Ruth Wilson, Lambert Wilson and Margot Robbie.
