Art Show, Concert Come To Van Saun Park In Paramus

PARAMUS, N.J. -- The Bergen County 51st Annual Art in the Park Show and Concert is scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 3 in Van Saun County Park.

The free event will allow families the chance to view works from more than 100 artists, enjoy a concert, tour the zoo, ride the train and more, organizers said. A dog run also is available for those who bring pets.

Artists wishing to exhibit their work at the show much be at least 17 years old and live in Bergen County. Several categories of art will be judged with winners receiving ribbons and cash prizes.

The event, sponsored by the Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs, with funds made possible in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts/Department of State is to conclude at 4:30 p.m.
