Blue Moon Closes Its Norwood Restaurant

NORWOOD, N.J. — The Blue Moon Mexican Café in Norwood has closed.

A Monday post on the Blue Moon Facebook page reads, “It seems there was one too many Blue Moons for the area.”

The restaurant chain specializes in Mexican food.

The Norwood location, which opened in Fall 2015,  was the newest addition.

During off-hours, it had welcomed autistic young adults and their caretakers from the Norwood-based Valley Program Foundation for Children with Autism.

The arrangement helped the young people gain job skills.

Blue Moon's other New Jersey locations in Englewood, Woodcliff Lake, and Wyckoff remain open.
