Police Investigate Shots Fired In Rochelle Park
Rochelle Park police have provided an update in a Friday night, Nov. 22 investigation in which residents were urged to stay indoors. Police Capt. James DePreta confirmed that authorities were investigating shots fired into an unoccupied vehicle on Marion Avenue, adding that the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was leading the investigation. UPDATE: A 40-year-old Mahwah woman was charged with shooting up an SUV parked in the driveway of a former neighbor in Waldwick. Authorities were trying to determine who fired several shots into a Hasbrouck Heights business that had closed for the day. No one was injured in what Police Capt. Joseph Rinke, the officer in charge of the department, said was an isolated incident at a multi-use building at 440 Boulevard early Saturday evening, Feb. 19. Gunshots brought Wayne police and other law enforcement officers to Mother's Ale House before dawn Sunday, but no victims or shooters were found, authorities said.
