'Highland Voices' Competes In A Cappella Semifinals Saturday

ALLENDALE, N.J.– Several local high school a cappella groups will compete in the semifinal round of the International Championship High School A Capella Mid-Atlantic at Northern Highlands Regional High School on Saturday.

The 7 p.m. event's winning team will advance to the 2016 International Championship of High School A Cappella Finals at The Town Hall in New York City.

Competing teams include:

  • Stay Tuned (Cherry Hill East High School)
  • PHS Testostertones (Princeton High School)
  • Rebelation (Howell High School)
  • Maroon Men (Ridgewood High School)
  • Highlands Voices (Northern Highlands)
  • The AcaBellas (Ridgewood High School)
  • Trebels (Seton-LaSalle High School)
  • Dragon Scales (Appomattox Regional Governor’s School) 
  • Nothing But Treble (St. Mary’s High School)

The Varsity Vocals ICHSA is the only international tournament that showcases the art of student a cappella singing.
