WALDWICK, N.J. -- Dashcam video shows a reckless hit-and-run driver crashing a sedan into an SUV and then speeding off after sending it bouncing off the median on northbound Route 17 in Waldwick.
Waldwick police are seeking the public's help finding the Acura driver responsible for the crash, captured by a tractor-trailer driver's dashboard camera just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Robert J. Woessner told Daily Voice.
"The license plate, unfortunately, isn't visible," he said.
Two Englewood residents who were in the SUV on their way to work in Ramsey -- one 64, the other 62 -- told police that they didn't require immediate medical attention after their vehicle hit the median twice, Woessner said.
The fleeing Acura had a sticker in the rear window, he said.
