WALDWICK, N.J. -- Rita M. Fowler, of Waldwick, died on Saturday, Oct. 22. She was 84.
Born in Tannersville, Fowler was a resident of Waldwick for 50 years. She was a parishioner of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and Home School Association, and ran St. Luke's Play Time for preschool.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Cuddeback and her husband Bruce, Robert Fowler and his wife Myrna, Timothy Fowler and his wife Cecelia, Amy Craven and her husband Christopher, and Andrew Fowler and his wife Karen, and her 15 grandchildren.
Fowler was predeceased by her husband, Hubert; siblings Robert Lohman and Vera Gulas; and grandson William Cuddeback.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., in Wyckoff. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Luke's, 340 Franklin Turnpike, in Ho-Ho-Kus. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
