"Diane was a compassionate, generous and dedicated person who loved life," information from the funeral home noted. "Her passion for animals, especially her love for her chocolate Labradors, will always be a reminder of her very kind heart."
Roberts is survived by her husband, Chet Roberts; children Suzanne and her husband Peter Flatten, and Scott and his wife Angela Roberts; brother Richard Heinrich Jr.; and grandchildren Samantha and Ryan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Evelyn (Bencik) Heinrich, and her first husband, Raymond Woods.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood. Meet directly at the Church of the Presentation, in Upper Saddle River, for a 10 a.m. funeral mass on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Redeemer Cemetery, in Mahwah.
