WALDWICK, N.J. – Waldwick is rallying around a local mom who is fighting Lupus and awaiting surgery to remove a mass from her chest.
As of Tuesday evening, more than $10,000 had been raised for Danielle Convertino and her family via a GoFundMe campaign.
“Danielle is always there for whoever needs help at whatever time of day the help is needed. Now it is our turn to support one of the most authentic, kind, and helpful people we know,” the page states.
According to the campaign page, Convertino has been in and out of work for months, and she and her family have been paying for her medicine out of pocket since she was diagnosed with Lupus.
“By providing Danielle with this gofundme page, we are hopeful to defray some of her medical bills as well as her pharmacy bills,” the page states.
