UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. — Upper Saddle River DPW workers donning short-sleeved Tee-shirts spent a cloudy but warm Thursday afternoon tending to flower beds at the intersection of Lake Street and W. Saddle River Road.

The trio removed trash from the site and applied mulch to the area with shovels and a tractor.

"We're keeping everything clean and green until winter," DPW worker Rob told Daily Voice.
