Boy Scout Griffin Waller of Troop 308 is in charge of a car wash from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 in the parking lot of the American Legion Post 57.

This fundraiser is the Eagle Scout project for Waller, and all funds directly go toward the installation of a butterfly garden in front of the library.

Troop 308 meets weekly at Julia A. Traphagen Elementary school, 7-9 p.m. on Mondays.

American Legion Post 57 is located at 46 Franklin Tpke., Waldwick.

A butterfly garden is designed to create an environment that attracts butterflies, as well as certain moths.
