Over the years, the Society has become known for its “unusual and one-of-a-kind items,” according to a Society statement, which said that nearly every item included in the sale was previously donated to the Society by its friends and members.

In addition to jewelry, the sale is to feature historical map reproductions, small antiques, china, silver and glassware, vintage records, holiday items, and rare and collectible books and publications, according to organizers.

Also available at a cost of $20 will be the Society’s award-winning book, “Pascack Valley Tales II,” which was edited by Katharine P. Randall of Hillsdale. The book highlights “interesting and humorous” stories from each of the Pascack Valley’s eight towns, according to organizers.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to purchase individual and family annual Society memberships at a rate of $25 and $35, respectively, according to organizers who said that new members will receive four issues of Relics - the membership newsletter, free admission to Society events and lectures, free use of the research library and archives, reduced copy machine fees, free private group tours and free consultations with Society researchers.

The sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Society’s barrier-free museum, 19 Ridge Ave., Park Ridge. Entrance to the sale is free.
