Allendale Housing, a local non-profit established by the borough, has partnered with other organizations on housing projects for people with special needs.
One such project is the 1.5-acre Crescent Commons, a cluster of three buildings with an interior courtyard completed in 2012. It houses 24 residents with either developmental disabilities or multiple sclerosis.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Crescent Commons Court, located on West Crescent Avenue across from Crestwood Park.
