Power was cut to the Arlington Plaza building just before 5 p.m., Sunday when a small fire in a second-floor compressor room caused a a refrigerator to leak, multiple media outlets said.
Conditions in the store became hazy while shopping customers reported. Store officials called for an evacuation over the loud speaker shortly before police, fire and EMS officials arrived, they said.
The store remained closed Sunday but reopened on Monday.
