A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Morris County Thursday afternoon, police confirmed.

The boy was struck on Wolfe Road near the Mount Olive Middle School around 3:10 p.m., authorities said.

The boy was treated at the scene and taken to Morristown Medical Center by Atlantic EMTs and St. Clare’s medics, police said. He suffered moderate injuries.

The driver — a 74-year-old woman — stayed at the scene following the accident, police said.

No charges were pending.
