Kelly was born in Denville and lived in Parsippany for most of his life, his obituary says.
Kelly was known for his love of fishing and spending time near the shore.
He moved to Seaside Heights about four years ago and had worked as the maintenance manager for Island Beach Motor Lodge in Seaside Park, his memorial says.
Kelly is survived by his parents; Robert M. and Kathleen; fiancée: Nicole Tsonas; brothers, Daniel P. and Ryan C.; niece and nephew, Colette and Cameron, as well as several extended family members and close friends.
