A 36-year-old Monmouth County woman has been charged with starting a fire that damaged a row home in November, injuring three people.
Jacquelin M. Rivière was using an open flame and flammable liquids to clean during some illicit activity when she started the fire Nov. 3, police said.
Rivière, of Perrineville in Monmouth County, is charged with negligently risking widespread injury or damage.
There was a chance the blaze could have spread to nine other row homes in the 100 block of 7th Avenue, police said.
The fire left Rivière and the two other occupants of the home with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The incident was investigated by the Florence Township Police Department Arson Investigation Unit and Detective Squad and the Burlington County Fire Marshal’s Office.
