Howell Police Search For Gunman Who Robbed Pizza Hut

Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant on Route 9 south in Monmouth County.

The robber is a white male in his early 30s, 5-feet-8-inches tall, unshaven and wearing dark clothing, Howell police said. Armed with a handgun, he fled south on Kent Road late Friday morning, police said.

Officers closed roads around the Pizza Hut and asked residents to avoid the area. A police K-9 was helping to track the robber

The area was shut down while the search continued with police K9s.
