Firefighters were called to a three-story home in Atlantic Highlands on Thursday afternoon.
Initial unconfirmed reports said a fire broke out on the third floor at 25 Ocean Blvd. about 4:20 p.m.
A ladder truck had been set up for access to the roof, according to unconfirmed reports.
The fire was reported under control by 4:40 p.m.
