Serious Crash Reported On Route 36 Jersey Shore: Developing

Firefighters, police and EMS crews responded to a serious crash on the Jersey Shore, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.

The crash occurred at about 8 a.m. on Route 36 at Union Avenue in Union Beach, initial reports said. 

Crash victims were taken to Bayshore Medical Center and airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, according to an unconfirmed report.

Union Beach police were not immediately available for comment.
