Cafoterria Modern Eatery on America Avenue has gone robotic.
Kitchen staff place food on the robot and type in a table number to find the customer, an owner said.
Monday, June 13 was the robot's first day "on the job," getting to know the restaurant layout, where the tables are and the "to go" station, according to the owner.
Server Luis Martinez came up with the idea of using robots and the restaurant will explore expanding their use if it goes well, the owner said.
