NJ Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Passenger On United Airlines Flight: Feds
A New Jersey man who admitted to sexually assaulting a woman passenger seated next to him on a United Airlines flight has been sentenced to six months of home confinement, authorities said.
Piyush Mathew, 31, of Robbinsville Township, must also serve five years of probation and register as a sex offender, the U.S. Attorney's Office said on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Mathew, who pleaded guilty in March, was sentenced on Wednesday, July 31.

A former stepfather from Atlantic City has been convicted of sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl, authorities said.
Andreas Andreadis, 44, was found guilty of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child by sexual conduct, and endangering the welfare of a child by abuse on Friday, Sept. 29 after a jury trial, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

A Union County man found with more than 1,000 videos and 6,000 or so images of child pornography was sentenced Wednesday in Newark to more than seven years in federal prison.
Nicholas Pecil, 33, of Rahway, "used a peer-to-peer file-sharing program to download and share videos and images of child sexual abuse," U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
