Update: Three Wounded In Paterson Shooting A noontime shooting wounded three people Saturday in Paterson, responders said. One of those struck by gunfire on North Main Street near Presidential Boulevard at 12:08 p.m. Nov. 12 is a 15-year-old juvenile, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro said in a joint announcement.The others are a 36-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, all from Paterson, they said. Detectives from the Haledon Police Department’s Investigative and Special Services Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Haledon resident Felix DeJesus, who was reported missing by his family last week. DeJesus was last seen in the area Oak and Summer streets in Paterson around 6 p.m. last Wednesday, Feb. 2, Capt. George Guzman said. His family reported him missing the next day, Guzman said. Authorities Nab Hawthorne Woman's Accused Killer UPDATE: A 23-year-old Paterson man was charged with murder after detectives identified him as the gunman who shot and killed a Hawthorne woman behind a city grammar school last winter. Police reported finding Nasreen Yashi, 41, behind the K-5 No. 15 School on Oak Street shortly before 2 a.m. Feb. 11. She’d been shot several times, they said.
