The former Rutgers University wrestler won a bronze medal representing Puerto Rico at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Toms River Man Sentenced For Dealing Heroin Throughout Ocean County
A Toms River man was sentenced after admitting to selling heroin throughout Ocean County, authorities said. Zachary Lockwood, 25, was sentenced on Friday, Apr. 5 to 10 years in prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. He'll be eligible for parole after five years. Lockwood pleaded guilty to possession of one-half ounce or more of heroin with intent to distribute, being a certain person not to possess a weapon, and resisting arrest on Monday, Feb. 12. Toms River Heroin Dealer Pleads Guilty
A Toms River man admitted to selling heroin throughout Ocean County, authorities said. Going to church took on a whole new meaning in Toms River. An 86-year-old motorist crashed her car into a church building leaving it unsafe, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18 on Fischer Boulevard,, Toms River police said. Dead Body Found Hanging In Toms River Woods
Multiple police agencies responded to a report of a dead body found hanging from a tree in Ocean County, authorities said. The body was reportedly found about 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the woods near Fischer Boulevard and Hooper Avenue, according to initial reports. : Lightning Strikes, High Winds Ravage Toms River
UPDATED: All Toms River Fire companies are out throughout the township for numerous storm-related calls, authorities said. Beginning about 3 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters and EMS personnel were called to three structures hit by lightning. One home caught fire on Riverbrook Court, a fire dispatcher said.
