Pitbull Puppy Beaten To Death, South Jersey Man Gets 1 Year In Jail: Prosecutor A South Jersey man was sentenced to one year behind bars for killing a four-month-old Pitbull puppy. Kyle Blythe, 24, of Linwood was sentenced on Wednesday, Aug. 24 to 364 days in the Atlantic County Jail and five years of probation, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Blythe was arrested and charged with animal cruelty following an investigation by Linwood police in December of 2020.
