Hussain Abdullah, 35, of Trenton died of gunshot wounds after the shooting on the 200 block of Spring Street, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation at 11 p.m., DeBlasio said. Abdullah was found in the street.
He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said.
Friday's shooting death was the 29th homicide in Trenton this year. There were a total of 16 homicides in Trenton in 2019, DeBlasio said.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating.
