A 22-year-old man was blasted by gunfire about 1:50 a.m. at Cunningham Alley and South Walter Avenue in Trenton, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
Trenton police found a shooting victim, Kaheem Carter of Trenton, laying in Cunningham Alley with multiple gunshot wounds, Onofri said.. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene and remained at large, according to an unconfirmed report.
