Damitra Smith was last seen Tuesday in Newark's South Ward wearing pink pants, a red jacket and blue sneakers.
“While we don’t suspect any foul play at this juncture of the investigation, we are calling on the public for assistance in locating this missing young girl,” Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. “If anyone in the community sees her, please call 911 immediately.”
Damitra is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 130 pounds.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Damitra Smith is urged to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS. All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
