A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in South Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.

The crash occurred at about 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 on the 600 block of Rancocas Road in Westampton|, initial reports said.

A request was made for a medical helicopter to airlift the victim to an area hospital.
