Masked Man Flees On Motorcycle After Attempting To Rob Mercer County TD Bank (Update)

A man who tried to rob a Mercer County TD Bank drove off on a motorcycle and remains at large, police said.

Officers responding to an armed robbery report at the 883 State Road location found that the suspect approached the teller counter and tried to jump over it twice just before 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, Princeton Police said.

The man then left the bank and fled toward Princeton Avenue on a black motorcycle, according to police.

He was last seen stopped at the intersection of Princeton Avenue and Route 206, authorities said.

The suspect did not wield a weapon or make any threats, and nothing was stolen from the bank.

The man was between 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 5 inches tall and was wearing green pants, a black shirt, black gloves, gray New Balance sneakers, a chest harness with a GoPro style camera, a black half-shell motorcycle helmet, and a has mask during the attempted robbery, police said.
