A report of shots fired came in about 10 p.m. on Tuesday on the first block of North Hermitage Avenue, reports said.
EMS crews took a man to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds.
The name of the victim and his condition were not immediately released.
No suspects had been arrested, Trenton police said.
