LITTLE FALLS, N.J. -- The season is officially open for ice cream lovers in Little Falls who crave a taste of Maine.
Falls Creamery opened again for the season on Saturday, announcing new flavors on social media and hinting that others could only be discovered in person.
Power Play Fudge combines cookies and cream with ribbons or fudge and chocolate filled cups.
Chocolate peanut butter ice cream is new on the menu.
Moo-Slide is coffee with fudge ripples and dark chocolate morsels
Pals Vincent Cestone and Thomas Barone, both Little Falls residents, started Falls Creamery in 2015.
After much research, they decided to use only ice cream from Gifford's, made in the rural town of Skowhegan, Maine.
Each flavor is made on a single production line and uses a special blend of fresh milk and cream from local farmers and antique machines to slow churn each flavor.
