Thirty-five Mahwah Girl Scout troops sold more than 28,000 boxes this year.

A total of 2,000 cases – just over 25,000 boxes – were delivered Saturday to Township Hall for pre-orders and cookie booths. That's 15.5 percent more than were ordered and delivered last year, coordinator Margie Murphy said.

The rest were sold online, shipped directly to customers or will be donated to soldiers serving overseas.

"This has gone great, and it could not have been done without all the volunteers," Murphy told Daily Voice.
