Mahwah Cherish the Ladies Concert This Weekend

MAHWAH, N.J. -- An Irish music concert takes place Sunday at the Sharp Theater at Ramapo College Berrie Center in Mahwah.

Critically-acclaimed Irish group Cherish the Ladies performs under the leadership of Joanie Madden on flutes and whistles. They were recently named one of the top 25 most influential Irish Americans of the past quarter century.

The band has grown from a one-time concert concept to an Irish traditional music sensation and is the most successful and sought after Irish-American groups in Celtic music.

The shows are March 6 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $23, 32, 25; children under 17, $18.
