Rockland County Jail Sergeant Facing 51 Child Exploitation Charges Following Cyber Tip: DA A 44-year-old sergeant at the Rockland County Jail is facing over 50 charges of possessing and promoting alleged child sexual abuse material, authorities announced. Daniel Dworkin, a corrections officer sergeant, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 21, following an investigation sparked by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Corey Womack, of Englewood, was heading west on Route 59 in a gray Audi A6 when he struck a Ford Edge near Broome Boulevard around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 30 in Clarkstown, Det. Norm Peters said. DWI Driver From River Vale Drove Wrong Way On Rockland Highway: Sheriff A River Vale motorist was drunk when he drove the wrong way overnight on a Rockland highway and somehow didn't hit anything, authorities said. Aidan Beahm, 25, was headed east on the westbound side of divided Route 59 in Nanuet when a sheriff's officer spotted the vehicle around 3 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco III said. Beahm was arrested, charged with DWI and issued summonses before being processed and released, the sheriff said. He was scheduled for a first appearance in Clarkstown Justice Court on Sept. 12.
