Deerpark Police Seize Nearly 1 Pound Of Pot, Growing Equipment From Home DEERPARK, N.Y. – A Deerpark man is facing drug charges after authorities seized several ounces or marijuana and growing equipment from his Neversink Drive home on Thursday, officials said.  Officers Daniel Jones and Robert Pratti, accompanied by K9 Buca, responded to a call for a burglary in progress. While checking the residence for any intruders, Buca alerted the officers to the presence marijuana, Deerpark Police said. Wallkill Police Seek Suspect In Attempted Robbery WALLKILL, N.Y. – Wallkill Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery in town early Friday morning, authorities said.  The victim, a 43-year-old Wallkill resident said the suspect approached her while she exited her vehicle just after 3 a.m. The suspect, described as a thin, black male in his 20s, pointed a gun at her, Wallkill Police said.  The victim screamed, which caused the suspect to flee on foot.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Wallkill PD detectives at 845-692-6757.

Wallkill Police Use Narcan To Save Goshen Overdose Victim WALLKILL, N.Y. – Wallkill Police had to administer Narcan to revive an unconscious Goshen woman who was found in the bathroom of a Super 8 Motel, authorities said.  Police Officers Michael Nolte and Daniel Graham responded to an Emergency Medical Services call and found the 22-year-old woman unresponsive and showing signs of an overdose. Newburgh Man Admits To Driving Over Gas Station Employee Twice NEWBURGH, N.Y. – A Newburgh man admitted on Wednesday to driving over a gas station attendant twice and causing injuries that ultimately killed the victim, according to the Times Herald-Record.  Milton Galdamez Pena, 22, ran over Jaspal Singh, 21, who was measuring levels in a gas tank near the pumps of the Shell station on Broadway in Newburgh.
