The man who tried to blame Brittany Murphy’s death on an eating disorder (see: Perez Hilton should be fed his own tesitcles….) got smacked by an official with Sirius XM’s Howard 100 and Howard 101 programs.
“The Perez Hilton report is absolutely false,” said Tim Sabean, a senior VP. “Artie is very much a part of these channels and we look forward to Artie’s fast recovery and we wish him all the best.”
Sabean’s announcement began airing Friday night and will continue throughout this weekend.
Hilton claimed that officials with the network had already decided Lange’s fate but wouldn’t tell him until he recovers.
Wrong again, Sabean said.
Lange, who lives in Hoboken, already has been released from Jersey City Medical Center, police sources said earlier today. He’s free and clear to get back to work. Who knows? He could be back on the air Monday.
At what point do people get to take down Perez for his throw-it-against-the-wall-and-see-what sticks approach to media? At what point will someone file a lawsuit big enough to frighten EVERYONE from doing business with the gossip mongerer?
Trust me: It begins with little goofs like this. Eventually, he’ll make a mistake so monumental that he’ll be tossed into the dustbin of disposable pop history. That’s one piece of trash you DON’T want to recycle.
