Herbert R. Johnscher, 52, Of Wallington

WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Herbert R. Johnscher, 79, died Nov. 26. 

He was born Feb 28, 1936, in Passaic, to Herbert and Johanna Johnscher. He was raised in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School.

Johnscher entered the U.S. Army and served in Germany; he also played for the Army's bowling team. On Oct 1, 1960, he married Carol (Bogdanski) at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington.

He retired from H&N Chemical in Totowa in 1998. He enjoyed his passion of fishing, grandchildren’s sporting events, flea markets and when he was younger, bowling.

Johnscher is survived by his devoted wife Carol; his loving children and their spouses; Jeffery and Lori Johnscher and Brenda and Michael Cariani; and his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan and Brandon.
