NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. — Family members paying their respects at North Arlington's Holy Cross Cemetery were shocked to discover that the veterans markers had been removed from the graves, CBS2 reports.
The Archdiocese of Newark said they were removed during spring cleaning, but that families can put new markers on the graves, according to the story.
The Archdiocese also said that any new markers could be removed during routine clean-ups, according to CBS2.
