The Asian-fusion eatery opened at 33 Ridge Road last August, after longtime Long Island restauranteurs and owners Maggie Li and Tony Huang decided they needed a change of scenery.

"We looked around the area and didn't see any other place doing quality Asian cuisine so we thought it was a good opportunity," said Li, whose husband, Huang, is a co-owner of the restaurant.

Tasty Fusion took over the space previously occupied by Hunan Garden — which had been in Lyndhurst for 40 years. What makes Tasty Fusion different than most Asian bistros is that chefs don't use monosodium glutamate — a flavor enhancer that is common in Chinese food.

"We use only the freshest ingredients," said Li, 42. "Fresh meat and fresh veggies. Nothing unnatural goes into our food."

The restaurant's most popular dishes are the General Tsao's Chicken, Ichban, Mango Chicken and Sumo Roll with lobster, Li said.

Tasty Fusion has 40 seats and offers delivery services as well as takeout.
