A woman was apparently shot in the face by a stray bullet Monday morning in Jersey City, sources told Daily Voice.
Two people were arguing inside of a building on Oak Street and MLK Drive when shots were fired at approximately 8:30 p.m., City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
The 29-year-old female victim was not an intended target, and was in a nearby car when she was struck, Wallace-Scalcione said.
She woman was apparently shot in the lip and suffered broken teeth, sources told Daily Voice.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and has since been released.
