A West New York man was killed when he struck a guardrail on the New Jersey Turnpike with his motorcycle Saturday, State Police said.
Agustin G. Amendola, 22, was leaving the Turnpike at Exit 16E in Secaucus around 10:40 a.m. when he hit the guardrail and was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a tragic coincidence, he is one of two young men killed on the Turnpike Saturday from Hudson County. A North Bergen man, also aged 22, died in a crash in Burlington County later that day.
