The person killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Saturday in Burlington County is a 22-year-old North Bergen man, State Police said.

Mohamedam A. Elbezaz was in a rear seat of a car traveling north around 4 p.m. when the vehicle bounced off a guardrail and collided with an SUV in Mansfield Township.

Elbezaz was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered serious injuries and another passenger was also hurt, but those injuries were not as severe, authorities said.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.

He is one of two Hudson County men killed on the Turnpike Saturday. A North Bergen man, also aged 22, died in a motorcycle crash in Secaucus died later that day.
